I’ve gone to this place a total of 3 times and each time has been a pleasant experience.
My first visit was to have a tire changed out for me (bc lord knows I won’t do it ?) and the owner insisted the service was free but I couldn’t at least leave a tip.
The second time was to have a general check on my vehicle. I decided to leave my vehicle at the shop and head home. Within about an hour, I was sent a text message that had a link to a report of my vehicle status as well as images of the issue(s) my vehicle had along with details of the maintenance urgency and fair prices for the services. There was no pressure from the staff to have any of the services done and they encouraged we work together to have each repair done overtime.
The most recent, and third, visit was to have my battery changed before heading out of town. I coincidentally had my battery under warranty with AutoZone. The staff went to pick up the battery from the location and provided the service free of charge AGAIN. Here, I made sure to have one of the services required from the previous vehicle scan completed to “return the favor” and not leave the shop without any form of payment.

San Marcos auto center is awesome. They are extremely professional and thorough. They fixed my truck in a timely manner and kept me informed throughout the repairs. I highly recommend San Marcos for all your your automotive needs. Thanks guys!
This was my first visit to San Marcos Auto Center since their opening. I found the personnel, including Corey the owner, to be very friendly and welcoming. The shop was clean, as was the waiting area. The waiting area was large. It included a TV and coffee service area. I brought both of my cars for an oil change. These guys re the best. They have taken great care of my cars and always shown courtesy and respect. They understood that I was a widow and treated me with the upmost dignity and never tried to take advantage of the situation. I have since used them for my daughter’s car and they treat her with the same service and courtesy. I would never use anybody but them. I 100% stand behind them and all the staff. THEY ARE THE BEST IN SAN MARCOS. ???⚙️???♥️♥️????
Scott is the man to go to. He has done all the work on our truck. That is why when I needed tires I went to him even tho he was going to send me somewhere else. But I only have him do my work. Highly recommended him in anything you need or a new vehicle
